MUNAid is a collaborative initiative founded by experienced members of the Model United Nations community, dedicated to providing support, resources, and guidance for conferences and organizers across Romania.

As seasoned MUN participants, our values have been shaped by years of experience. We take great pride in upholding discipline, an element we consider indispensable to every conference. Respect serves as our foundation: respect not only for chairs and organizing teams, but for every participant, regardless of their role or experience.

Our mission is to offer comprehensive aid and to strengthen the quality and integrity of MUN conferences. We believe that knowledge should prevail over theatrics, and that each Model UN experience should serve as a space for learning, growth, and understanding of the world’s political and diplomatic mechanisms — while preserving the passion and enthusiasm that make these events unforgettable.

The Romanian Model United Nations community was founded more than two decades ago and continues to grow, bringing together individuals united by a shared curiosity for global affairs — from geopolitics, economics, and security to law, human rights, and social studies. Guided by the core values that also define the United Nations — respect, dignity, diplomacy, inclusiveness, and cooperation — we strive to create a meaningful environment for learning and collaboration.

We equally believe that such an environment requires integrity and accountability. Therefore, we stand firmly against harmful ideologies, repeated disregard for mutual respect, excessive informality, and antisocial behaviour, as we work to promote the same principles of peace, understanding, and responsible dialogue that the United Nations itself represents.
